Friendship Project

In today’s digital age, it's far too easy to become a friend, and far too easy to be unfriended. It all takes on a whole new meaning. Then you start to wonder about what “friendship” really means in a world of social networking.

Join us for an intimate dinner and conversation about friendship, how we think about it, and how it manifests in our daily lives. Even though we’re more connected than ever, are we more alienated than ever?

Erin Fong, an insta-influencer and co-owner of Western Editions, has kicked off “The Friendship Project", an art venture and examination of the changing nature of how we communicate and cultivate lasting relationships. It's one part research and interview and one part printing gathered advice.

We’ll discuss #IRL!

If you want to participate in the project, but can't attend the event go to

Join us at
Sawmill Studio
3403 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland

Preeti Mistry in collaboration with Erin Fong and Lonny Mag
Wine by Sophie James and Scribe

September 18th, 2018

Drinks at 6:30pm & Dinner at 7pm

Tickets include a dinner with wine & a print from Erin Fong.

This is an intimate event so there are only 30 seats available (first come, first serve!). Friendship is a very personal experience so for this particular event, we are focusing our energy on interconnectiveness and vulnerability as it relates to our interpersonal relationships.
We hope you understand and desire to do more events that inspire meaningful conversations.
